Meet Our New President: Cindy Klatt

By: Rebecca Macsovits, Chief Executive Officer of KWIG

Cindy Klatt Named President of KWIGI’m extremely excited to share the promotion of Cindy Klatt from Chief Operating Officer to the role of President of Kemmons Wilson Insurance Group. Cindy’s initial blush with the insurance industry was at home with her parents both being career insurance agents. They taught her the basics: integrity, loyalty and trust.  Enamored with insurance, Cindy began working in the industry as a file clerk during college. In her 33 year-career, Klatt has served in several roles in both personal lines and commercial insurance and earned designations as a Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), a Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and a Certified WorkComp Advisor (CWCA).

We’ve had the privilege of Cindy choosing to be with KWIG for more than 22 years. In that time, Cindy has proven to not only be excellent in the insurance space, but also a strong leader who serves as the glue to our company’s culture. Prior to being promoted to President, Cindy served as Vice President of Strategic Client Relations and Chief Operating Officer at KWIG.

In the last 5 months, Cindy has stepped up in a major way to help KWIG during this transition. As President, Cindy will continue to oversee agency operations as well as provide strategic leadership to grow the organization. We are grateful for all that she has contributed to this business and are excited to see her succeed in this new role!

“I’m extremely honored to be named President of Kemmons Wilson Insurance Group. During my time with KWIG, I have been supported and empowered to learn, grow, and forge my career path in insurance. I’m thankful for their trust and leadership and look forward to the future!”
